Your implementation / integration project begins with asking the important questions upfront, gathering answers directly from the stakeholders that use the data to make sure all needs and potential derailers are identified early. We translate between Business, IT, and Accounting to ensure implementation and integration projects get done right. Business needs are developed and objectives for the systems are found, being sure to capture the nuance that matters.
Vision & Planning
A vision of the new process(es) and user actions is developed through discovery and analysis that guides planning. We work with you to develop your data exports by understanding how the data will be used. We work with system developers/experts and your team to drill into the vision to create a detailed yet flexible plan. We’ll build into your detailed plan that unknowns will come up. We try to find them as early as possible to allow for adjustments that don’t compromise the vision.
Dynamic Implementation
Christensen Financial Consulting handles the migration of your data from your legacy systems to your new system. We often embed with your personnel/process to help identify the needs and the process to get your new system operational. Having planned for unknown factors we remain agile throughout implementation ready to adjust and correct for those things that may arise. We ensure that the new system meets the needs of all stakeholders and achieves the defined vision while delivering a smooth transition from the old system to the new.
Pilot to Parallel
Pilot to Parallel implementation involves phased implementations. We begin with a pilot implementation in its own sandbox, with a small test sample of users to work out the kinks prior to rolling it out at full scale parallel. We then run systems in parallel, a step-by-step process that involves running the new and old systems at the same time and bringing the new system onboard in phases. Whether those phases are dictated by risk assessments and management, readiness based prioritization or preparing a full rollout; client needs will be addressed with a parallel system to alleviate risk ensuring the new system has successfully replaced all critical functions of the old and is running efficiently in preparation for close-out of the old system.
User Training & Acceptance
Christensen Financial Consulting performs batch training starting with those that are more in need of using the system, making it easier to identify risks as they arise, ensuring needs are met. Working in small training groups is less overwhelming and makes sure everyone can provide feedback and ask questions. We will work with the users and stakeholders to make sure the processes work and then perform a phase out period that includes feedback and testing the system. We encourage users to really use the system, get to know the system, to make sure the processes are done correctly and are working properly, making adjustments as needed.
Close-Out
Ultimately, Christensen Financial Consulting wants to make sure the old system is turned off. This helps the stakeholders recognize savings and see their financial projections. You are not saving money until the old system is turned off. This is done after all risks have been identified and managed, training has been done, and the new system has been in use for a period of time, set by the stakeholders, working efficiently and meeting all the needs of the client.
